The ASPIRE Program

Developing Your Principal Pipeline

Aspire is a six or nine session program developed for teacher leaders who asprire to be assistant principals. It uses experiential learning methods to develop the real-world skills necessary for effective school leadership.

The program  focuses on instructional leadership and the skills and knowledge needed to lead instructional improvement. Participants complete the Gallop Strength Finder.

Gallup research proves that people succeed when they focus on what they do best. When they identify their talents and develop them into strengths, people are more productive, perform better, and more engaged.

Each participant works collaboratively with his or her principal to identify an area that needs to be addressed around one area of the curriculum. Once addressed the participant develops an action plan and delivers professional development to the staff on that area with appropriate follow up and monitoring.
