Identifying the implications of change

DASL combines facilitation and planning expertise with a practical understanding of Delaware education issues and opportunities. DASL staff members have chaired strategic planning processes for some of the state’s biggest districts.

Human capital management
This includes recruiting, hiring, developing and retaining the most important resource in public schools: educators. Drawing on our research and policy work in these areas, DASL can help organizations develop human capital strategies.

Examining organizational conditions
DASL can help district, school board or other leaders analyze the conditions that promote or impede effective leadership. One tool is the Academy for Educational Development’s Decision Rubrics, which DASL staff helped develop.
