Spotlight on DASL’s Development Coaches
I am in my fourth year as a Development Coach for the Delaware Academy for School Leadership (DASL). Prior to becoming a Development Coach, I worked in the Indian River School District for thirty-three years as a teacher, assistant principal, principal and assistant superintendent.
I’m proud to be a Development Coach for DASL. I am one of the coaches who has been with the program since its inception four years ago. I wish that this program had been in place when I was a school administrator. As a coach, I have had the privilege of working with wonderful administrators, both novice and experienced.
My name is Connie Fisher and I am a native Delawarean, serving 22 years in Delaware’s Public Education System. I am currently one of DASL’s Development Coaches working with administrators at four schools. This first year as a Development Coach has been quite exciting. My primary responsibility has been to support principals in the effective implementation of DPAS II.
